1996
|
On 1 May Director Hans Duisters establishes Sioux Technical Software Development. Sioux then occupies two rooms and one telephone line at the WTC in Eindhoven. At the end of the year Sioux employs 10 employees.

1999
|
In addition to secondment Sioux carries out ever more in-house projects. That is why in 1999 possession is taken of a new building with an extensive Development Centre at the Science Park Eindhoven. In June Sioux opens an establishment in Belgium. First in Antwerp, later a relocation to Herentals takes place.

2000
|
Sioux observes an ever increasing demand to improve the development processes of customers. In 2000 the consultants at Sioux combine forces and consultancy services are added to the spectrum. To this very day daily successful assessment and improvement programmes are implemented by Sioux worldwide.

2001
|
Pride and enthusiasm all around when Sioux is proclaimed ‘Best ICT company to work for’ by the Corporate Research Foundation. In 2003 we will win this title for a second time.
Particular is also the record of Sioux in Deloitte’s Fast 50, a list of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the Netherlands. Sioux will also figure on the list in 2002 and 2003.

|
Machine2World® is introduced: a technology platform which renders interaction with and between machines by means of the Internet possible. Thus the start of a new product division at Sioux, Sioux Remote Solutions, is a fact.

2003
|
Sioux is again among the winners! In March it receives the Best Entrepreneurs Vision Award and in September Sioux is proclaimed Best 1st Tier Supplier of the Netherlands during a symposium of LINK Magazine and the ING Bank.
Since July of this year Sioux has also been allowed to call itself Microsoft Certified Partner.
In October Sioux Medical Systems, a joint venture with market leader MediTop, sees the light of day. This division offers the medical world effective, hospital-wide solutions for high-quality digital image storage and all which pertains to this process.

2004
|
Sioux welcomes the one hundredth employee and takes over UComServ to thus be able to offer more to its customers in the area of remote solutions for the vending market.

2005
|
Sioux takes possession of its new, spacious and industrial location in Eindhoven and changes the name of its services division into Sioux Embedded Systems.

2006
|
Sioux wins the Mechatronica Award presented by the Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij for the development of Phenom, a table-top model electron microscope for FEI Company. Particular about this project is that Sioux and the NTS Group jointly put their name down for the development and production, under the authority of FEI. This indicates that the position of Sioux moves ever more from supplier into the direction of (fellow) product developer.

2007

Sioux employs over 160 employees of which 120 in the Netherlands and 40 in Belgium. In May we start our Hot-or-Not sessions. Technology pioneers are invited to Eindhoven to inform embedded systems specialists about the latest developments and how these impact the way in which we develop software.In October we open our back-office in Moscow, Russia.

Hot-or-Not is popular. The sessions, with Alan Cox (Linux) and Alistair Cockburn (Agile) attract around 200 visiters on average.
After a partnership of 5 years MediTop takes over Sioux Medical Systems.

2009
|
More often customers are looking for a single partner who can and will fully carry responsibility for the software development of a product. Sioux Technologies is founded to meet this need.

On 1 January electronics engineering specialist NBG Industrial Automation joins the Sioux Group. And in April we open our new offices in Utrecht (NL): Sioux Automation Technology. |
