"Oslo" is the codename for Microsoft's modeling platform. The new language ("M") and a set of visual modeling tools should enable you to write applications 10 times more effective.
Modeling is a hot topic these days. Is Microsoft's idea of model-driven development just another way of working or will it transform modeling altogether?
On April 20, 2009 Chris Sells gave the answer. Chris is a Program Manager for the Connected Systems Division at Microsoft where he is working on next-gen application development techniques. He is a frequent speaker at Microsoft events and a contributor to MSDN Magazine. He's written several books, including Windows Forms Programming in C# and is co-author of Mastering Visual Studio .NET. In his free time, Chris hosts various conferences and fills his weblog with independent commentary on technology and geek culture.
